To use desktop pictures on the Mac, find and open the appearance control panel in your system folder. Click on the "Desktop" tab to display the current list of installed textures. Click the small preview of your desktop to make the pictures button active. Click the Place Picture... button to select your desktop picture. Click the Set Desktop button to apply the new picture to the desktop. On the PC, click on the Start menu, navigate to Settings and then to Control Panels. Open the "Displays" control panel by double clicking it. Select the "Background" tab and click the Browse button. Locate the picture you downloaded and select it.
